Music Monday: Spaceman – Hardwell (Headhunterz Remix)

I’ve only recently been introduced to Hardwell and his class of EDM music. My friends insisted I give him a listen after they discovered his work through the Electric Zoo. Funny story – turns out I already had some of his music (don’t you love when that happens?)! I came across the following remix to Spaceman, and although I do like Hardwell, this remix kills it.

Music Monday: Legacy – Nicky Romero vs. Krewella

This is seriously a match made in heaven. I always listen to Nicky Romero and Krewella, so to hear these two acts come together is like music to my ears. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!

Music Monday: Youth – Foxes

I was first introduced to Foxes when she sang on Zedd’s Clarity, where she proved to have some power vocals. For her lead single, Youth, she shows that she can control that voice and still bring an engaging performance. It reminds me a lot of Lana Del Rey’s voice, but it isn’t as haunting and saddening. Enjoy my friends!

Music Monday: Safe and Sound – Capital Cities

I’ve heard this song for a good while now and admired how relaxing it was.  It’s pretty toned down from what I usually listen to, but it literally makes me feel “safe and sound.”. The video is also a little trippy, but it works! Enjoy!

Music Monday: Reload – Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash, John Martin

Now that Swedish House Mafia has split I’ve been getting into the individual work of it’s three members. Although this track appeared in their last album, Until Now, the vocal version is credited to Sebastian Ingrosso. What really makes this song addictive is John Martin’s vocals (Don’t You Worry Child, Fade Into Darkness, Save the World), who brings a certain type of power to an already infectious track.
